MINI NINJAS

The beginning of the journey. Ages 3–5.

At Origem, we believe Jiu-Jitsu starts long before learning how to fight.

It starts with learning how to listen.
How to move.
How to fall and get back up.
How to respect others.
How to be confident without needing to be aggressive.

These are small lessons now, but they can become strong foundations for life.

That is the idea behind Mini Ninjas.

THE NEXT GENERATION

Our youngest students are the future generation of Origem.

Some of them may train Jiu-Jitsu for a few months. Some may grow up on these mats, receive their first belt here and one day become black belts, competitors, coaches, parents and leaders themselves.

We don't know where their journey will take them.

But we believe the beginning matters.

Origem means “origin” — the source, the place where something begins.

For more than a decade in Australia, and through generations of Jiu-Jitsu before us, our culture has been built around more than techniques and belts. We value respect, discipline, resilience, humility, friendship and family.

Mini Ninjas is our way of passing those values to the next generation from their very first steps on the mat.

JIU-JITSU AT THEIR LEVEL

A 3-year-old doesn't learn like a 7-year-old, and we don't expect them to.

Mini Ninjas has been created specifically for children aged 3 to 5, using movement, games and simple Jiu-Jitsu concepts to make learning natural and fun.

There is structure, but there is also space to play, explore and be a child.

At this age, our priority is not competition or medals. It is helping children develop the qualities that can serve them throughout their lives — confidence, respect, resilience, discipline and courage.

If one day they choose to test themselves in competition and become champions on the mats, we will be there to guide them. But first, we want to give them the foundations to become champions in life.

Classes are led by Coach Luiz Gabriel, bringing his experience in Jiu-Jitsu and many years of teaching children, teenagers and adults into an environment designed especially for our youngest students.

MINI NINJAS

Every Tuesday | 4:15pm–5:00pm
45 minutes | Ages 3–5

3-Month Program - $440
13 Tuesday sessions

Casual Class - $40

We intentionally keep the group limited so our coaches can know the children, understand their personalities and give them the attention they need at this important stage.

And when the time comes that your Mini Ninja is ready for more, their journey can naturally continue through the wider Origem Kids program.
