Some may grow up on these mats, receive their first belt here and one day become black belts, competitors, coaches, parents and leaders themselves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe don't know where their journey will take them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut we believe the beginning matters.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOrigem means “origin” — the source, the place where something begins.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor more than a decade in Australia, and through generations of Jiu-Jitsu before us, our culture has been built around more than techniques and belts. We value respect, discipline, resilience, humility, friendship and family.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMini Ninjas is our way of passing those values to the next generation from their very first steps on the mat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eJIU-JITSU AT THEIR LEVEL\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA \u003cstrong\u003e3-year-old\u003c\/strong\u003e doesn't learn like \u003cstrong\u003ea 7-year-old\u003c\/strong\u003e, and we don't expect them to.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMini Ninjas has been created specifically for children \u003cstrong\u003eaged 3 to 5\u003c\/strong\u003e, using movement, games and simple Jiu-Jitsu concepts to make learning natural and fun.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is structure, but there is also space to play, explore and be a child.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt this age, our priority is not competition or medals. It is helping children develop the qualities that can serve them throughout their lives — confidence, respect, resilience, discipline and courage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf one day they choose to test themselves in competition and become champions on the mats, we will be there to guide them.
